Our Move: Church History Part 2

On Saturday, we went to Far West. There really isn't much there, but we enjoyed driving on the back roads of Missouri. It was so pretty!

Then we went to Adam-Ondi-Ahman. We had a good time there. It was such a beautiful day and no one was there. We had a nice picnic and had fun playing with Bradley. As we were walking on a trail, Tommy and Bradley would run ahead and hide behind a tree and then pop out at me. It was making Bradley laugh SO hard. It was adorable!

Then we visited Carthage Jail, where Joseph Smith was killed. It was really neat and had a strong and powerful spirit there.

And then our last stop was Nauvoo. We stayed there for 2 nights, but only got to tour the sites on Sunday. It was a rainy day, but we had a really good time. There weren't many people there so we often had our own tours of the homes and buildings. I loved it there. It was a lot of fun, but we didn't take any pictures other than at the temple. 

This is the home of my great-great-great-great grandfather. 

We got up early Monday morning and came the rest of the way to Cincinnati. We had to be here by 3 pm to  get our keys. We had such a great trip. We loved getting to see everything we did. Bradley was such a trooper! By the end, his patience was just about gone and he was tired of his schedule being messed up, but overall he did great. So, that was our great move across the country.
