Spring Break part 4: Phoenix, AZ

When the conference was over, we drove back to the Phoenix area. We met up with Tommy's family in Mesa to watch the Easter Pageant. It was a lot of fun. Bradley had fun with 2 of his cousins.

After the pageant we drove to Tommy's grandma's condo in Sun City where we stayed. The next day we spent hanging out with Tommy's family. The kids had fun playing with Bradley. We went to a park where Bradley went down his first slide (and loved it!). We visited the construction site of the new Phoenix temple being built and we went to a ward activity at Tommy's aunt's ward. We had a lot of fun with them.

Sariah wanted to help me change Bradley's diaper and get him ready for bed. She's putting on his lotion here.
Saturday we drove home. We had to make more stops than we ever have before because we didn't really pack any food and we have a baby, so it took longer. Tommy got pulled over for the first time just outside of Page, AZ. He was going 52 mph in a 45 zone, so he just got a warning. The officer was really nice, so it wasn't a horrible experience. But we did stop a the dam right after Page so Tommy could collect himself and gain some dignity back. :) We were so tired of fast food by this point in our trip that for dinner we stopped at a small little market and bought bananas, strawberries, and tuna to eat on our crackers. We ate the entire pound of strawberries in about 5 minutes. It felt so good to eat real food.
Our stop to get Bradley ready for bed. He liked the steering wheel. :)
It was a fun trip and such a great week! It was fun to see all the people we did.

Awww, babies! I'm so glad you guys had such a fun trip. I'm sorry about getting pulled over; that's always a terrible feeling. But I'm glad it was just a warning. And I love the picture of Bradley "driving" the car!
