Oh! We had a fantastic time in Utah! I'm really sad the trip is over. It had been 3 years since I had been there, which is the longest I have ever gone without visiting. It felt like home and it was so much fun.
We flew out in the evening of Tuesday, June 2. We actually met Tommy at the airport who had been in New York the previous two days. The boys did great on the planes. Tommy really enjoyed flying with us instead of alone.
Caleb didn't sleep on the second flight like we thought he would...but he was happy with a cookie. :)
We stayed at my sister Julie's house that night. My parents were also there. It was so fun to see them all! Wednesday morning Bradley had so much fun playing with his cousins. We met Adam and Hailee Smith at City Creek Center for lunch. It was great to see them again and get caught up. Bradley and Reece picked up right where they left off. :)
We spent the afternoon back at Julie's and after dinner drove down to Mapleton to visit the Petersons (one of the bishops we served with in the YSA ward). Then back up to Orem to Tommy's Uncle Troy's house. We arrived at the exact same time as Tommy's mom and siblings. Bradley was really excited to see them all.
Thursday we spent our time in Salt Lake City. We did temple square, conference center tour, and ate at City Creek again.
That evening we had dinner at the Edlefsen's house (another bishop we served with and was Tommy's bishop before we were married). They were so fun with Bradley! They have such a fun backyard. They let him gather their eggs for the day, see their baby bunnies, pull a carrot from their garden, and pulled him around in a wagon around their awesome "track" for kids. He left calling them grandma and grandpa.
Friday we went to BYU!!!! This was the day I couldn't wait for. And it did not disappoint. I really can't explain the love I have for that place. So many wonderful memories. It felt romantic to be there with Tommy, walking where we began. Cheesy, but true. We basically just walked around, visited a few old bosses, ate J-Dawgs and Creamery ice cream, and bought new t-shirts.
Friday night Tommy and I did sealings at the Mt. Timpanogos temple, where we were married. It was so happy to be back there. Loved that experience.
Bradley probably didn't even notice we were gone. :)
Saturday morning we walked in Provo Canyon and drove up to squaw peak. I just can't get enough of mountains.
Saturday night we got together with my old roommates!!! (the ones still in Utah) Oh! It made me so happy!! I miss these girls like crazy. How did I luck out getting to live with such amazing people?
And our kids. :)
Played The Great Dalmuti complete with fun hats with the Cox cousins that night.
Bradley fell asleep on the floor during sacrament meeting on Sunday. That's how you know it's been a good vacation! We wore him right out.
Sunday evening we enjoyed good food, a kickball game at the park, and visiting.
Monday morning we said goodbye to Tommy's family (Bradley was quite sad about that). We went to campus one more time to get a brownie and chocolate milk and to see a few more people we had missed (including Bradley's namesake. He was excited about having "two Bradleys!")
We loved this part of the trip so much! We probably tried to do too much (we were exhausted by Monday), but it was so exciting and rejuvenating to be back in Utah and to see so many people we love.

Haha, Chrisser thought he saw Tommy in the Wilk but didn't dare say anything since we didn't know you guys were going to be here, so he figured it probably wasn't him. Sounds like a super fun trip!
