The Jarvis Clan Comes

My sister Melanie, and her family, came to visit us last week. It was so much fun! Her kids are at such fun ages and Bradley LOVED having them here to play with him. I wasn't great at taking pictures, but want to remember all we did.

They arrived Tuesday around dinner time and there was much rejoicing and silliness. This was a favorite activity all week: turn the music on the keyboard on and dance like monkeys. This is normally one of Bradley's favorite activities and he loved everyone doing it with him.

On Wednesday we went to the National Air Force museum in Dayton. The older boys loved it and Samuel could have spent days in there reading everything. We rode the "flight simulators" there. After nap/quiet time we enjoyed watching the Jarvis production of "The Mystery of the Murderer" (a play they made up).
Thursday we went hiking at Keehner Park and played in the creek. That evening a few of us went to Jungle Jims.

Friday we went miniature golfing. We had a great time doing that and I couldn't get over how cute the little club was they gave Bradley. It took him a few holes to not freak out each time we made him move on (he kept thinking we were leaving), but he did really well and knew which ball was his. It was so fun. We got Graeters Ice Cream that night.

Saturday we went to the zoo. This was the first time we did the lorakeet feeding and we really enjoyed it. Bradley was so fascinated by the birds. They kept nibbling on Tommy's ear and trying to get in my hair.
That evening we went swimming at the Mason pool and had a great time.

Other highlights included:
Sam making cinnamon rolls, apple pie, and his amazing pizza.
Game playing
Lots of talking
Mario Kart

I love the Jarvises and am so glad they got to come!!!
